This song is an 8-bit cover of that great Nintendo 64 game, Mystical Ninja. It uses the 2A03 chip, no DPCM.

A Nintendo-style arrangement of "So They Say" from Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog. This is one of 13 total tracks I've done in this style that will be part of a Flash animation I'm putting together to re-create the entire movie in 8-bit style.

A short breakcorey noise channel jam with a square beep wankered through my Digitech GNX3000 with whammy pedal, a short delay and some fuzz distortion. Oh, and a killswitch wire I made of a doorbell :) download my new Unce EP at:

What if the Kraken had its own theme music on the Japanese Mother game for Earthbound 0 back before the Super Nintendo? This is what it would sound like. Sorry for the poor quality, I recorded the song from a site I uploaded to since the original file was lost. Go to www.unsigned.com/aaronparsons to hear the clean hi-fi version.

So well, here is my first Chiptunes music written on Fast Tracker in december 95.
Since a long years the sounds of those Nintendo portable always astonnished me.
That’s why after a first experience with some Adlib PC samples, i decided to have an essai with sounds sampled out of my Game Boy, and trying to write a song in the same mood. At that time, i didn’t know that we called it Chiptunes.
So, I plugged my Game Boy in my PC and choosed the game that my friend Stéphane Beelen borrowed me : Batman the Return from Sunsoft. In fact in that game, i had access to a sound menu where i could easely choose SFX and music of the game.
95 Joke : So you should admit that i’m the best non ? :p
you could download the original .mod file here :

One of my longer songs, done more or less freestyle on a Nintendo DS with the Korg DS-10 Software.
I'd have to say that the sound of this song is inspired by the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis game World of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck.

Proudly presenting Aquatic Plateau! This started out as an idea of combing tracks from David Wise (Composer of the Donkey Kong Country series for Super Nintendo) along with tracks from the amazing music programmer Wisp. I tryed mixing many together, but this one is truly the diamond in the rough. David Wise - Aquatic Ambience (Water level from Donkey Kong Country 1) & David Wise - Bayou Boogie (Swamp level from Donkey Kong Country 2) remixed into Wisp - Flat Rock. Unforgettable underwater journey!
The art is on N0mad.net & is a edit of Wisp's Shimmering Hour album art with my drawing of underwater outskirts.

I played with the EQ some, changed out some drum samples, and removed the vocals. Improvements? A friend wants to include this song on a release with his remixes of my band's EP, so any detailed feedback is incredibly helpful.
This is a cover of
my band's song "Failing At Friendly Is Not An Option." I made it in Reason 4.0 with an
NES sample pack and a few Nanoloop samples as well.

I wrote this song as a gift for my girlfriend, who is obsessed with cute sheep things and in particular, a character from the Nintendo game Animal Crossing named.. Eunice.

made in Reason 4.0 with an NES sample pack. the one from chipcollection.com, if you're curious.
the song is originally by my band Ideal Fathers, the original title is "Failing at Friendly is not an Option," and you can find it on our myspace page.
this is a rough version, i think the vocal track doesn't quite line up perfectly, but i wanted to hear how it sounded and get a little feedback from others.

It's about time I put this song up here. This is an arrangement of some New Super Mario Brothers music. A lot of people seem to like this one, and since it's got a nice Nintendo-eque breakdown in it I figured I should post it up here. This was originally done in early 2006, but it is still one of my best pieces. Enjoy!

Smuggled in from the deserts, here's a Khajiiti traditional funk, reprieve and loop. Mmm, sweet moon sugar. Written for the once-popular Nintendo Entertainment System unit, which I'm sure we all remember.

My first complete LSDJ song. Tools of the trade:
- Nintendo DS running LameBoy for my LSDJ copy
- Behringer VAmp2 virtual guitar amplifier for compression and reverb.
- Korg miniKaossPad for delay.
Recorded in Audacity over Mac OS X. No editing, just live tweaking for some fun with the delay.
Feedback is always appreciated. Hope you like it!

A happy fastpaced chiptune that will make you think about oldschool nintendo platform games.
Made as an ingame song for the game VVVVVV by Terry Cavanagh of Distractionware fame. It's meant to loop, and hence ends abruptly.

There should have been a Ramones video game released on the Nintendo Entertainment System. Somehow, I think that it would have been like a TMNT styled game... but dirtier than the sewers that those mutagen created green boys could ever handle. HEY HO!!! LET'S GO!!!

I've been having a lot of trouble writing music lately, and its been a long time since I've uploaded anything not related to the epic Dr. Szliszka battle. The announcement of blip fest 09 got me really pumped this week and inspired me to go back and start working with LSDJ again, so I wrote this song today.
This song is about the Last Ride, that part in every epic story when the main hero makes a stand and rides out toward his certain death. Like when the cowboy rolls into town even though theres like 100 guys who all want the bounty on his head, or when like Beowulf goes to fight the dragon even though he knows hes fuckin dead if he tries.

To commemorate The Beatles edition of Rock Band being released today, may I introduce to you...Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band!
Go buy yourself a copy of the game, or one of their newly rereleased CDs. Today's music owes a lot to these pioneers. Some of their music is still cutting-edge even today.
Having been some time in preparation, a splendid time is guaranteed for all who listen.
See it live here!
Cover sequenced with 5 freakin' LSDJ carts on 5 DMG-01 Nintendo Game Boys. Channels individually recorded in Audacity; effects added. Compare to the original and tell me what you think.
