The range of Nintendo Wii exclusive Beat Em Up titles continues to grow this year, as following hot on the heels of Tatsunoko vs Capcom we have an entirely new title; Wii's Tournament of Legends. From developers High Voltage, this title is the first in a proposed franchise of weapons-based fighters.

With Capcom's new marketing plan with Nintendo taking place next Tuesday (March 8th) with the Monster Hunter Tri demo, I think it's safe to say that Monster Hunter Tri is going to be as big as they say. This is the first time in the Wii's history that a developer is going to give the consumer a chance to try a game out for free through retail.

Capcom announced today that their 2D classic title, Mega Man 10, is now available for download on Nintendo's WiiWare service. The developer also confirmed that the game will appear on PSN next week, while Xbox owners will have to wait for the end of the month as the title will appear on Xbox Live on March 31st.

Mega Man 10 was released today on Xbox Live, Wii and… well, people who want to get the game on PSN will just have to hold their horses. That said, today is apparently just the first in a series of releases; Capcom says that they will be adding five DLC packs in April that, together, almost double the cost of the game...

Nintendo of America executive vice president of sales and marketing Cammie Dunaway talked about the core-gaming aspect of Nintendo's release game plan.
She says Capcom's "Monster Hunter Tri" will "show that action-oriented games can do well on the Wii platform." She also said that a Nintendo Wii successor won't be coming "anytime soon."

Capcom have announced that their top selling franchise in Japan has a release date in Europe - April. That's as specific as it gets but at least you guys now know roughly when you can get your grubby hands on it.
