James Burt is a Brisbane resident who is facing a $1.5M fine for illegally distributing his copy of Super Mario Bros. Wii, which he received six days earlier than the release date. Nintendo actually hired a P.I. to track Burt down, and they claim his copy has been downloaded “thousands of times” since it was uploaded. Is this verdict fair?

Rockstar Games announced today that the two downloadable episodes for Grand Theft Auto IV – The Lost and Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony— will have their world-wide debut on the PlayStation 3 and the PC this March 30. This is the first time either of the DLCs are available for anything other than the Xbox 360.

Those who bought Red Alert 3 during Steam's holiday sale are finding themselves with a partially useless game purchased at an admittedly excellent price. Steam users report that the downloaded copies of Red Alert 3 don't include serial numbers, which the game requires for online play. A similar issue occurred through Steam with SPORE.

Based on internal figures, EA says FIFA 10 has sold 4.5 million units worldwide since it's launch in early October. This is in addition to FIFA 10 being the fastest-selling game ever, mind you. Besides that, the company also announced that the first downloadable content pack, FIFA 10 Ultimate Team, will be available in February 2010.
